After more than 43½ years, we are saying goodbye to a colleague whose career is deeply woven into the history of INDUSTRONIC.
She joined INDUSTRONIC at a time when the company was still small, personal, and very much a family business. Everyone knew everyone. What has always stayed the same, even as INDUSTRONIC grew into a global technology company, is the idea of building something exceptional. Products that may not be widely known, but are essential where they are used.
Over four decades, she experienced and shaped enormous change. From drawing boards to PCs, from relay technology to today’s networked systems, from small teams to complex, international projects. She grew together with the company, always curious, always willing to learn, and never afraid of new technology.

Her career began in project planning and later led her into the APM environment and then ultimately to the functional testing department. She was challenged and encouraged early on, discovering strengths she hadn’t known she had. At a time when technical careers for women were far from common, she proved her expertise again and again. Not always without resistance, but always with competence, perseverance, and passion for technology. Her message remains clear. Technology is exciting. And it is for everyone.
What she valued most was teamwork. The readiness of colleagues to help, to share knowledge, and to find solutions together. Creativity, customer-focused thinking, and close cooperation shaped her daily work. One highlight among many was a long-term project for a major industrial customer, which she accompanied over several system generations, including a major night-time migration in 2012 that remains a milestone for everyone involved.
Looking at today’s INDUSTRONIC technology, she is genuinely impressed. The progress made over the years is something to be proud of. Her advice is simple and honest. Respect each other’s work, even if you don’t fully know what it involves. Stay curious. Stay ambitious. And don’t forget to appreciate what has already been achieved.
As she starts a new chapter, she is looking forward to new plans, spontaneous ideas, and above all, more time with her grandchildren.
Thank you for your dedication, your expertise, your openness, and your many years of commitment to INDUSTRONIC. You have left a lasting mark, not only on systems and projects, but on the people who had the pleasure of working with you.
