INDUSTRONIC’s “Hands-On” Charity Campaign

Special occasions such as INDUSTRONIC’s 50th anniversary call for special activities. In recognition of this milestone, we organized a variety of charity campaigns. During the whole of 2015 we initiated and participated in various campaigns to support or collect money for charitable organizations.

In this article we would like to share some of our experiences with you…

Children’s Festival – DAHW – German Leprosy and TB Relief Association

In the spring of this year we had a booth at the Children’s Festival in Würzburg in which INDUSTRONIC employees presented a game for children and collected money for the DAHW. As you can see from these pictures, everyone had a great time! Providing fun for children and seeing them smile was a wonderful experience for us!

Furthermore, we donated an additional amount of money which the German Leprosy and TB Relief Association will be using to support an ongoing project in Ethiopia.

Charity Run – Worldwide Initiative for Social Commitment

In October, 43 INDUSTRONIC employees, including our President, ran a total of 242 kilometres for this charitable organization! All participants were very motivated and everyone reached the finish line. In the picture below you can see the INDUSTRONIC running team.

Our President donated 10,- EUR for each kilometre run. The Worldwide Initiative for Social Commitment is looking forward to using this money to support their projects.

In-house Collection of Foodstuffs – “Wertheim Food Bank”

Starting from the beginning of this year we have collected foodstuffs for needy people in the region. We have a large basket in our foyer which is continually filled by employees with non-perishable food, teas, coffee, sweets and much more. Depending on the season, even nuts from our employees’ gardens are donated.

Each time we go to the “Wertheim Food Bank” with our full basket, the persons in charge are elated to receive our donations and distribute the contents accordingly via their local program. Our employees enjoy helping people who aren’t as fortunate as themselves so that we decided to continue with this campaign.

Furthermore, to support the local Elementary School in Wertheim-Bestenheid, we donated money for the renovation of its schoolyard.

As you can see, our efforts in this campaign reflect our great pride in being a part of INDUSTRONIC’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Excellent initiative! All organizations in India should replicate this and I am sure this will fill up the stomachs of so many hungry people in our country!
