The IT systems electronics technician apprenticeship was offered for the first time at INDUSTRONIC 3 years ago, and now the first apprentices completed this training.
We are very proud that we can now congratulate our two former trainees Jan and Madeline on successfully completing their apprenticeship. They spent 3 years in the IT department. During this time, they learned e.g. how to program with Python, were part of the first level support team, and answered the IT hotline. They also got to know a lot of departments and participated in a hands-on project of the System Integration team on the implementation of a compact siren amplifier solution in a cabinet. Now many different paths are open to them here at the company.
Jan’s first thought when he came to us: YOLO!
A quote of him during the apprenticeship:
“I will never understand this typical INDUSTRONIC jargon!”
His conclusion:
“Before my apprenticeship I worked in a car workshop, now I am exactly right where I wanted to be.”
Madeline’s first thought when she came to us:
“I already feel more comfortable here than I felt before when I worked in the automobile sales management.”
Her conclusion:
“A long journey into the unknown that turned out to be rewarding.”
Jan is now part of the system test team and is entrusted with the further development and maintenance of the automated test environment.
Madeline stays in the IT department and is now an ERP system administrator.
