INDUSTRONIC systems are used in harsh industrial environments, where they are responsible for efficient process communication and alerting. To ensure that these safety-related functions are available at all times, all components of the system are monitored in real time and deviations are immediately reported to a higher-level instance. For example, all INDUSTRONIC intercom stations including the microphones are monitored.

Apart from process communication, you may not always require a completely monitored terminal device. For this purpose, INDUSTRONIC provides an integrated telephone interface with the latest INTRON-X software so that third-party VoIP telephones or other sip based terminal devices can be seamlessly integrated into the system. VoIP telephones can now be operated on an INTRON-X system without the need for an additional telephone system.

Communication between all telephones and intercom stations is thus possible using a single call numbering plan. The telephones must support the SIP protocol in accordance with RFC3261. The integrated connection of SIP terminal devices is independent of the SIP interface for VoIP telephone systems that we still provide. As the IP PBX is connected via a SIP trunk, the Config Manager X software also now provides configuration options for SIP telephones.

By introducing the SIP terminal interface, the INTRON-X system becomes even more flexible and transparent for its integration into modern communication infrastructures.
