Gate intercom stations at factory entrances and driveways enable communication with visitors and facilitate access control, e.g. when a truck arrives.

The driver presses the call request button at the gate intercom, which is installed at a suitable height in a pillar in the entrance area. A ringing tone can be heard in the control room. At the same time a suitable live video stream is displayed on the control room intercom station.

With a single keypress, the control room staff answers the call and can speak to the truck driver. The conversation is held in full-duplex mode. This means that both subscribers can speak and listen simultaneously. This enables convenient hands-free communication, as the voice connection is permanently open in both directions. Due to the integrated echo cancellation, no acoustic feedback occurs.

During the call, the operators of the control room can easily open the gate or barrier via keypress. It is also possible to use additional functions, such as switching on the light.

Our IP gate intercom stations with echo cancellation function and automatic video activation facilitate access control. This way, security staff always knows who wants to enter the premises and the hands remain free for other activities. Visitors are allowed in, unauthorized people remain outside.
