More than 500,000 German school graduates took their first step into working life and started their apprenticeship in 2013.
Also this year approximately 470.000 companies in Germany are looking forward to guide the young people through the approaching challenges.
For more than 20 years INDUSTRONIC has employed trainees on a regular basis.
On average, two adolescents per year are trained in cooperation with vocational schools.
The German educational system is based upon a dual approach. Apprentices are trained in the companies, where they learn the practical part of their profession. Likewise they learn about the theory in vocational schools.
Usually technical occupations are trained in alternating block courses (e.g.: trainees work in their companies for four weeks, then study for four weeks at the vocational school). Whereas in an apprenticeship for a commercial occupation the trainees stay in their companies most of the time and have “school days” one or two times a week.

– Industrial Business Management Assistant
– Management Assistant in Warehousing and Logistics
During the last ten years, INDUSTRONIC has reinforced its efforts to train university students as well.
Similar to the dual educational system with vocational schools, it is possible to complete studies in a company in association with universities.
With institutions like the Cooperative State University Baden-Württemberg, students can earn their Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree. Here, the theoretical and practical parts alternate in blocks of three months mostly.
