Already in 1977 INDUSTRONIC supplied their first systems to China through international engineering companies and contractors. Due to the good business relationships and the booming market INDUSTRONIC decided to found a Representative Office with 2 employees in Beijing in 1999. At the beginning, INDUSTRONIC focused mainly on customers in the Chinese metal industry.

The growing success also in other industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals encouraged INDUSTRONIC to transform its Representative Office into a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise in July 2002. Ever since, INDUSTRONIC Beijing, as subsidiary of INDUSTRONIC Wertheim, has grown steadily and has become a recognized provider of industrial communication systems for the Chinese market.
