General project description

The company Bayernoil Raffineriegesellschaft implemented the ISAR ( Initiative to increase site safety, plant optimization and profit) project as part of its ongoing business strategy.

As part of this project, the refineries in Neustadt and Vohburg have been expanded and will become the most modern production plants in the whole of Europe within 5 years, before the production plant in Ingolstadt is shut down.

Project scope

  • Task: Planning, delivery and commissioning
  • System: Alarm, public address and communication systems
  • Scope of delivery/details: 9 INTRON-D systems consisting of 200 call stations and 8,000 W amplifier output
  • Schedule: Orders, deliveries and commissioning processes 2006 - 2007
  • Parties involved in the project: Implemented directly with the end customer and partly with engineering companies and general contractors on-site

Special features

Complete plant warning system at the Neustadt and Vohburg sites
for the production, control rooms, loading, administration and laboratory buildings, canteen and fire station.
Networking of the INDUSTRONIC INTRON-D systems within the plant areas via fiber-optic cable. The two sites were interconnected via IP connections. Wireless connection and plant siren integration. Interface to the control stand system with integration of the control stands. Interface to the fire alarm control centers.
