The NSG was used to connect an INDUSTRONIC system to analog systems from different manufacturers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now our XAL has all the basic functions of our XIO and in addition 6 analog audio interfaces with 2 x 4-wire audio in full duplex and 4 x 2-wire audio with half duplex. With the XAL module you can connect up to 6 analog audio components \u2013 analog intercom stations as well as interconnect INDUSTRONIC systems and third-party systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Since the control inputs and outputs are divided into separate groups of 12, it is possible to connect two systems at different voltage potential to one XAL module.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n The module also has 2 Ethernet interfaces, which allow for redundant network access. If one network interface fails, data is transmitted via the second one. The XAL has an integrated automatic self-monitoring function. The internal electronics are powered via PoE (with redundancy) or a separate DC supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Additional Features<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Phantom power can be applied via the 2-wire audio interface. Phantom power means power feeding via the 2-wire connection for the internal circuit and supply of analog intercom stations. Therefore, it is possible to transmit a DC supply voltage up to 72 V. This phantom power is a proven type of remote power supply for signal sources in the terminal device, like the internal circuit or an amplifier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Use the terminal and fuse block 6 XAFTB 001 to protect and constantly monitor six analog terminal devices with additional power. This allows for a quick reaction in case of a fault indication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is possible that IOs can be redundantly connected to 2 different XAL modules ensuring their availability to the IOs. In the event that one XAL fails, the second one takes over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Together with flexible redundancy concepts (A+B and Hot-Standby) the XAL ensures continuous operation and maximum system availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Compact Industrial Design<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The INTRON-X modules have a uniform and fanless industrial design. One module has a width of only 1\/3 19″ and a height of 1 RU. All modules have the same size so that 3 of them can be flexibly combined in a 19″ chassis or other suitable location by using the appropriate chassis. This allows a decentralized and centralized installation – just as your project requires it. Thanks to IP all INTRON-X components are interconnected via the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The XAL can be supplied via an external DC power supply.
