Welcome back to another blog post from INDUSTRONIC. Today with the new industrial-grade and high-efficiency power supply solution XPS from INDUSTRONIC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industrial-grade Power Supply with Wide-range Input <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The XPS power supply is especially designed for our new system platform INTRON-X<\/a>. It is ideal for different power applications, offering a compact, efficient, and reliable uninterruptible DC power supply at 48 V DC. Based on the latest technology the XPS is highly flexible and adaptable to all requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has a wide operating voltage range from 90 V AC to 264 V AC. The rated output voltage can be internally adjusted from 45 V DC to 55 V DC. Loads up to 500 W can be supplied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is cooled with a temperature-controlled fan and has internal self-protection monitoring functions against excess temperature, excess load \/ short circuit and surge. Like all other INTRON-X modules (XCO<\/a>, XDG<\/a>, XAL<\/a>, XBC<\/a> and XIO<\/a>) the XPS has a space-saving width of only 1\/3 19″ and a height of 1 RU. So it can be optimally integrated in a 19″ chassis or other suitable location using the appropriate chassis and therefore enabling a compact system structure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the rear side, you have the connection for three 48 V DC outputs (1), a fault indication output (2) and the mains voltage input (3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simplify your Projects <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As all INTRON-X modules, the XPS power supply comes with all required accessories to start right out of the box. This means that all required cables are included in a so-called Preferred Module. INDUSTRONIC has defined two of them for the XPS to simplify your projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first one consists of the power supply unit including a power cable and DC connection cable for simple power supply solutions without fail-safe requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second preferred module allows for 1+1 redundancy operation with two power supply units including the same cables as described above. Both power supply units can be easily connected in parallel via a DC connection cable.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
