The PA design is strictly made and calculated with different software applications and hardware appliances. However for our design work we need more data from our customers than before.<\/p>\n<p>To facilitate your work we prepared some checklists which retrieve the following data:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Type of speaker\/s<br \/>\n\u2022 Hazardous areas<br \/>\n\u2022 Ambient noise\/s<br \/>\n\u2022 Plot plans of areas<br \/>\n\u2022 Buildings \/ Side views<br \/>\n\u2022 \u2026<\/p>\n<p>When we get this data back, our engineers can then calculate and create a bill of material (BoM) of the equipment required.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ambient noise?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In some cases, while there is no ambient noise map available, there is a need to measure and map the ambient noise. This can be done by third party companies selected by the customer or by INDUSTRONIC.<\/p>\n<p>For budget planning it should be sufficient to calculate only with a few \u2018large surface noise carpets\u2019 to build the noise map and obtain the amount of devices (speakers, flash beacons if noise &gt; 85 dB).<\/p>\n<p>The calculation program works with the simple \u20181\/r inverse distance law\u2019. Some parameters like speaker type, general absorption, general ambient noise, signal to noise and power tapping must be inserted additionally.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2293 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.industronic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Checklist_PA1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1927\" height=\"2670\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.industronic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Checklist_PA1-1.jpg 1927w, https:\/\/www.industronic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Checklist_PA1-1-217x300.jpg 217w, https:\/\/www.industronic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Checklist_PA1-1-768x1064.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.industronic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Checklist_PA1-1-739x1024.jpg 739w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1927px) 100vw, 1927px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">See the Results!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As a result we get the \u2018undisturbed range\u2019 of the speaker with the<br \/>\nparameters entered.<\/p>\n<p>With this range we can calculate the total amount of speakers.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">What about indoor areas?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In indoor areas like admin buildings, workplaces and living quarters there should be at least 1 (one) loudspeaker in each room with doors.<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand it is due to regulations or standards, on the other hand it is logical that everybody should be alarmed in case of fire\u2026<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">That\u2019s all?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Not yet \u2013 some documents must be created where all speakers are correctly assigned to the places required.<\/p>\n<p>For more precise sound planning some of our customers need a so-called sound study.
